The technique involved herein is the tie and dye method that is done by plucking the cloth in tiny bindings resulting in figurative patterns. The name Bandhani is due to the Sanskrit word Bandhani which means to tie. The traditional and most famous Bandhani culture is observed in the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan in India.
